Through the Shri Dagdulal Marda Charitable & Research Foundation, Arvind Group is committed to meaningful social welfare across healthcare, education, and community development in Ichalkaranji and beyond, continuing the values of trust and service the Group was founded on in 1944.
Healthcare
From subsidised clinics to life-saving surgeries, the Foundation's healthcare work has stood on the ground in Ichalkaranji for nearly three decades.
Financial aid extended for over 2,000 heart and kidney surgeries, easing the burden on families facing critical medical costs.
Running since 1997 in collaboration with Mahesh Club, this clinic has offered treatment to the community for a token fee of just Re. 1.
Launched in 2001 with Marwadi Yuva Manch, providing rapid emergency response for the local community.
Organised in 2002, this camp brought relief to over 300 patients suffering from chronic knee pain.
Long-standing sponsorship of plastic and ENT surgery camps run in partnership with the Rotary Club.
Held every year on December 18th, mobilising the community to give blood and save lives.
Medical and financial assistance extended to affected families during natural disasters.
Education
Believing education is the surest path out of hardship, the Foundation invests directly in students who need it most.
Financial aid and hostel facilities provided to more than 700 students to help them continue their education without interruption.
Ongoing contributions to Rotary Club initiatives that fund schooling for underprivileged children.
Distributed in partnership with the Venu Madhuri Trust, ensuring tribal students attend school with dignity.
Community Development
Beyond healthcare and education, the Foundation supports the cultural, civic, and environmental fabric of Ichalkaranji.

Arvind Group’s community commitment extends to the environment. The Group generates about 20 MW of solar and wind renewable energy for in-house consumption, with the surplus supplied to Maharashtra Government schemes reducing the community’s collective footprint alongside its social investment.
